Assembly box, duplex and half-round gutters

Assembly semicircular gutter RG 100/125/150

The semicircular gutter system for roof areas with up to 159 m² roof surface is easy to install due to the plug-in system. For single-family houses, large carports or garages, this system is just right.

Step 1

Distance between the gutter irons 50 to 70 cm. Saw slots in the first roof batten in the width of the gutter iron, chisel out slots so that the irons can be set flush in the roof batten.

Step 2

Align the first gutter iron with the roof tile: The front edge of the roof tile must protrude ⅓ into the gutter. Mount the last gutter iron with a slope of 2 to 3 cm to 10 m.

Step 3

Tension double straightening cord at the highest and lowest point of the gutter iron from the first to the last gutter iron.

Step 4

Check the slope again on the guide line; a slope of 2 to 3 cm should be planned for every 10 m of gutter.

Step 5

Align the other gutter irons with this guide, determine the dimension for bending the individual gutter irons and mark it on the gutter irons.

Step 6

Before fastening, the channel irons must be bent. The easiest way to bend them is with a large pair of pliers, as shown in the picture, or in a vice.

Step 7

Fasten the bent gutter irons in the recesses on the roof batten with Spax screws or appropriate nails.

Step 8

Cut the gutter to the appropriate length with a hacksaw and place it in the gutter irons. The end piece is simply plugged on.

Step 9

Fit the drain, determine the exact place for the drain and mark the recess for the water drain.

Step 10

Sawing out the drain hole is quick and clean with a hole saw attachment or a fine-toothed saw.

Step 11

Deburr the saw edge and hook the gutter spigot over the rear bevel and clip it over the front bead.

Step 12

The gutters are plugged together with a connecting shell. The correct spacing of the gutter ends is determined by the markings on the connecting tray.

Step 13

The connecting shell is hooked in over the rear bevel and clipped over the front bead. Observe markings - cam-groove system!

Step 14

The eaves strips provide additional protection against rainwater and drifting snow. They are hooked into the bend of the gutter and nailed to the roof batten with cardboard pins every 30 cm. Eave strips are laid with an overlap of at least 4 cm. Tip: In order to be able to hook the eaves strips into the rear bend over the entire length of the gutter, the tabs of the gutter iron must be shortened with tin snips!

Step 15

The finished gutter creates a visually pleasing finish for the roof and protects walls and foundations from moisture.

Fixing the gutter

For the Marley Cam and Groove system to work, each gutter must be fixed in the center.

Assembly semicircular gutter RG 75

For roof surfaces up to 25 m² floor area - e.g. carports, garages and balconies, garden and weekend houses.

Step 1

Gutter brackets are used to fasten the gutter to the rafter or fascia board at a distance of 50 cm. There should be a slope of 2-3 mm per linear meter of gutter to ensure safe drainage of rainwater.

Step 2

Tension the double straightening cord at the highest and lowest point of the gutter bracket from the first to the last gutter bracket.

Step 3

Check the slope again at the guide line.

Step 4

Align the other gutter brackets with the guide line.

Step 5

Saw gutter to length and hang in gutter brackets.

Step 6

The end piece is pushed onto the gutter - fits left and right, but not on the drain socket.

Step 7

To install the gutter spigot, pass the gutter through the spigot undivided, mark the hole for the spigot and saw it out with a fine-toothed saw.

Step 8

The following applies to all sawing work: The edges must be thoroughly deburred.

Step 9

Hook the gutter spigot over the rear chamfer and the front bead.

Step 10

The connecting shell is mounted over the rear bevel and the front bead. Observe markings - cam-groove system!

Step 11

If it is not possible to install a downpipe, we recommend installing a rainwater spout.

Step 12

The water drainage flap is ideal for collecting free rainwater in a barrel and using it for watering.

Assembly box roof gutter on the garden house

The Marley box roof gutter is suitable where smaller roof areas such as garages, balconies and garden sheds need to be protected quickly and easily from damage caused by rainwater. The installation of a Marley box roof gutter with downpipe DN 53 is simple: you glue the gutter and fittings with the reliable Marley special adhesive. Marley RG 70 box roof gutters are available in attractive special colors in addition to the familiar gray and brown: White, anthracite and copper tone.

Step 1

Fasten gutter brackets at a distance of approx. 50 cm. Slope: 2-3 mm per linear meter of gutter.

Step 2

Saw the box roof gutter to the appropriate length using a hacksaw.

Step 3

Saw out the hole for the drain with the drill.

Step 4

Glue gutter spigots with Marley special adhesive.

Step 5

Fasten gutter connection piece over rear bend and front bead. Glue the gutter connection piece to the box roof gutter.

Step 6

Clean and glue the end piece.

Step 7

The connecting shell is used to connect 2 box roof gutters. The gutter ends are glued in the connecting shell.

Step 8

For larger roof overhangs, 2 bends are connected with a corresponding downpipe section.

Step 9

Assembly duplex gutter

Duplex gutter looks small, but its capacity is remarkable. Thanks to its deep-oval shape, it offers a large capacity. Combined with the DN 53 downpipe, it is particularly suitable for draining smaller roof areas.Installation made easy: gutter and fittings are securely glued together.

Step 1

Gutter brackets are used to fasten the gutter to the rafter or fascia board at a distance of 40 cm. There should be a slope of 2-3 mm per linear meter of gutter to ensure safe drainage of rainwater.

Step 2

The holders are adjustable up to 25° so that they can also be attached to sloping rafters or fascia boards.

Step 3

The Duplex gutter can be attached to corrugated or double-webbed sheets without any problems using special holders. The upper part of the holder is inserted into the space between the double-webbed sheets and clamped in place.

Step 4

Problem-free: Installation on the roof surface. Bend flat iron, screw on gutter bracket and insert gutter.

Step 5

The Marley Duplex gutter can be attached to the side of the rafter with a cranked gutter iron and the plastic gutter bracket without having to remove the roof covering.

The duplex gutter is sawn to length with a fine-toothed saw.

Step 7

Gutter end pieces can be used on the left and right. They are simply glued with Marley special adhesive.

The opening for the gutter spigot is marked.

The DN 53 leaf trap prevents the downpipes from becoming clogged with leaves and the rainwater from running off.

Mounting Clipfix

The practical Marley ClipFix gutter holder makes it possible: The Marley Duplex gutter can now also be mounted on tents, awnings and pavilions. Thus, the rainwater is also safely shown the way during the camping trip or the garden party. Marley ClipFix is also ideal for gazebos permanently installed on the house to prevent damage to the house wall caused by rainwater.

Step 1

Two O-rings (1) and a cable tie (2) are attached to each Marley ClipFix holder.

Step 2

The prepared Marley ClipFix holders are now mounted to the tarpaulin of the pavilion, tent or awning at a distance of 50 cm. To do this, the tarpaulin is clamped between the two O-rings.

Step 3

Now prepare the duplex gutter for installation.

The Marley ClipFix holders are now fastened in the duplex gutter. To do this, first insert the side with the bent end (1) into the rear groove of the gutter ...

... and then press the other side with the flattened end (2) into the front groove.

Step 6

To drain the rainwater safely, there are various options, e.g. spouts, bends or rainwater hoses. These can be attached to the previously mounted spigots.
